The DK-170 hole-punching machine produces four clean, accurately spaced lacing holes in one cycle for luxury ribbon-closure gift boxes and rigid packaging.
Imported Japanese drill units penetrate greyboard and wrapped box panels cleanly, helping minimize burrs and damage around each opening. Adjustable row and pitch spacing allows the hole pattern to match different cover sizes, box structures and ribbon arrangements.
After punching, ribbon or cord can be threaded through the holes to create tie closures that hold a lid or flap closed, carrying loops or handles, ribbon pulls for easier opening, or decorative lacing and bows. The required function depends on the box structure and hole layout; the DK-170 prepares the holes for these subsequent finishing operations.
The machine can be used for book-style and hinged-lid gift boxes, wine and spirits packaging, cosmetic and perfume sets, jewellery and watch cases, apparel boxes and other premium presentation packaging. Positioned after cover or box-panel forming and before ribbon threading and final assembly, it reduces repeated manual marking and individual hole punching while maintaining consistent placement across production batches.
